Bauger Raises 2.2 Million SEK in Pre-Seed Funding to Revolutionize DeathTech

Bauger, a Swedish startup developing innovative solutions in DeathTech, has secured 2.2 million SEK in a pre-seed funding round. The investment will drive the development of Bauger’s platform, which simplifies processes for funeral homes and makes it easier for individuals to plan for the end of life. The platform is designed to reduce the administrative burden for funeral homes and offer a more transparent experience for grieving families.

The funding round included equal investments from Skåne Ventures and Tech Loop, each contributing 500,000 SEK. VNTRS participated with an investment of 750,000 SEK, and the round was further strengthened by angel investors Måns Jadenbrink, Anders Fräger, Sigul Invest, and Håkan Karlström.

Strengthened Partnership with the Swedish Funeral Directors Association

Bauger has already achieved success in Sweden by signing a framework agreement with the Swedish Funeral Directors Association (SBF). This makes Bauger an approved supplier to over 400 member agencies nationwide, highlighting Bauger’s credibility within the growing DeathTech sector.
