FINDOUT DIAGNOSTIC • CASE STUDY
Develop, manufacture and distribute diagnostic self-tests
The attitude towards the defintion of care has changed as we have become increasingly interested and actively seek knowledge of our own health. Self-tests are a great tool for attaining information about one’s own health but do not replace a doctor’s visit.
FindOut Diagnostic is a company with the vision to make health data available on the individual’s terms, through development and distribution of high-quality diagnostic self-tests.
We joined FindOut Diagnostic to build a medical device with the purpose of revolutionizing the way we access health data. We solved this through a mobile application utilizing a built-in algorithm to enable users to perform common lab tests in the comfort of their homes.
The task was to develop a mobile application and a quantitative self-test that measures CRP-value between 0-200 mg/l in 15 minutes.
User journey – users can perform self-test of common traditional lab tests, answer referrals and quickly respond to Healthcare providers, without the need of leaving their homes.
A medical device enabling easily performed self-test, and communication with digital healthcare providers.
The project had a high focus on regulatory and development processes, as well as system architecture and scalability.
To facilitate these requirements we decided on using a modern tech stack consisting of React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes as environment infrastructure components.

“VNTRS has helped us from the start to build our mobile application for patients. Now when we are reaching a more steady-state, we have started recruiting competence in-house to start building our own software team. VNTRS has been very helpful on our journey.” – Denise Luxenburg Stuifbergen CEO of
